Emmy's City Meet.

Emmy is about to run her 100 meter sprint

Normally she does extremely well in this race. There was a lot of pressure because it was the all city meet and the final one of the season. She didn't do as well this time but that was ok. She tried.

She getting ready to run the 200 meter now. Almost every other race was between her first and last race, so we were out there all day....lolShe was pumped for this one.

She was ahead until that corner. Being on the outside lane is rough. If you are running fast you have to be able to go even faster at that corner.

She pushed it hard at the end and I was proud of her.... Over all her JV team came in 2nd for the city. They came in 1st last year so she is determined to take that victory lap next year since it is her last year there. She had a great season and is hoping to go into soccer in the fall to stay in shape.
